A brief detail of the job description is given below :
Project Planning & Execution
ü Preparing project schedules / plans, engineering designs / drawings and technical specifications towards the successful execution of electro-mechanical (MEP) projects.
ü Monitoring projects with respect to Cost, Resource Deployment, Time over-runs and Quality Compliance; conducting project review meetings for evaluating project progress & taking adequate corrective actions.
ü Anchoring on-site construction activities involving coordination with Client, Project Engineers, Consultants, Co-Contractors, Sub-Contractors and other external agencies to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilisation to maximise the output.
ü Designing and implementing stringent systems and quality plans / manuals to ensure high quality / safety standards during all the stages of project.
Testing & Commissioning
ü Managing overall activities pertaining to erection, testing, commissioning and operations of a wide range of systems and equipments.
- HVAC, Fire Protection & Detection Systems, Water Supply Systems, Drainage Systems, Building Management Systems ,LV & ELV Systems, etc.
ü Managing tendering process from floating tenders evaluating bids and awarding contracts; coordinating with sub-contractors for techno-commercial negotiations, cost estimates, including billing, claims, etc.
ü Involved in interpreting contractual obligations & rights and evaluation of technical / financial problems for management reporting.
Resource Management / Liaison Work
ü Material Planning and developing vendors for timely procurement of materials / equipments, ensuring compliance with pre-defined quality standards.
ü Ensuring suitable deployment of manpower & timely availability of manpower and equipments / materials to ensure timely execution of the projects.
ü Liaising with government departments and regulatory authorities for obtaining necessary sanctions/ approvals and ensuring compliance with various statutory obligations.
